Trading for me is like watching paint dry. Even a snail moves faster than how my account grows.

Seeing you all growing your accounts by double digits makes me depressed.

So true. Sometimes we KNOW what to do and yet we still do the opposite.
i think this is the biggest obstacle in trading - getting the discipline and ability to execute the trading plan.

That is the reason why there are traders out there who seem to be doing perfectly well trading pretty much any strategy - even basic support&resistance levels.

And there we have traders with a refined strategy with an edge, but who are losing money due to poor money management and revenge trading...

  7. Absolutely.

I'll add that there are few trading strategies/plans that works consistently across all market conditions year in and year out without losing days and that's one of the reasons it's so hard to succeed in this game. The market's changing all the time. It's the same as yesterday, yet it's not.

One day the market's trending nicely. Or even an entire week. The next day it's range bound over a wide range with the main move down and the next day it's range bound over a much smaller range with no obvious main move chopping up people left and right. Next day it's breaking out. Oh no. It was a false breakout. Back to the other part of the range. Yet another false breakout. Of course, in hindsight it looks so easy.

I'll put seem in bold, because I never saw any trading statements from anyone, nor any demonstrations in real time which suggests anyone are doing perfectly well.

    I'm done believing. :)
