If I want to make an EasyLanguage strategy available to someone (possibly to the public) and do not want the algorithm to be disclosed, is there a way to do this (possibly analogous to compiling or providing object code)?

    Thanks

  2. The protection with a password, which is the way systems and indicators in easy language are protected, is useless.
This protection can be removed in seconds.

  3. Norm,

If you meant to say how other traders can trade your strategy without disclosing or dispatching code to them, Yes, you can have your codes 100% protected (No one except Tradestation securities "MIGHT" be able to read them, Owndata softeware let you use TS.8.1 without linking to Tradestation network).

Open account type called block trading and link the strategies to all your traders account (they should be using same OMS like J-trader, IB TWS,...as you, but they don't need to have tradestation plateform

There are several discussions of this in the TS forums. Look at the Hot Links for All FAQ and look for '300. DATA: SECURITY & PROTECTING YOUR CODE'.

    Tradestation code can be cracked.

Use a DLL and put the meat of your code in that, having TS access the DLL.
