Have anybody tried to trade on a comparison of estimated and actual values? I mean that in case of exceeding the second one, we have the stock to buy. List of values to compare: EPS, sales volume, etc.

I created a test portfolio http://www.portfoliorunner.com/web/pdescr?pid=170 nearly three weeks ago. What stock to buy is defined on the comparison of EPS. How much to buy is defined by know-how money management rule. When to sell is defined by know-how technical wave stop.

I wanted to test the strategy rule over longer period but I just have history for actual financial results.

So, have you tried the rule? And how do you test a strategy with no history available?

    Thanks.
