  3. I am starting to feel OQ... Now If I can get the IB historical Data Download Beta to work....

C# is easier than I thought.

I guess I just had to slow down and read.... Visual Studio 2008 is a nice little tool.

Does OpenQuant have provision for storing fundamental data (P/E, EPS, earnings etc) as well as use it in a strategy along with real time/historic data ?
If not are there any Automated trading systems that support this apart from TS ?

    Thanks for your reply.

    Sky123987,
Thx for the tip about the Neowin forums. The Q&A for C# looks relevant and very helpful. No doubt that I'll need the help as I'm new to C# and OQ.

  8. Lou, if you grab Visual Studio 2008, they have a nice C# tutorial as well.

They have a 90 Day free trial to cut your teeth on it...

OQ: Decent product, no support, documentation, the boards are dead. You can't develop custom indicators at the same time OQ is running, but you need it to test it. Strategy trades cannot be viewed on the same chart as your studies. Doesn't seem like the font size can be changed. 300 for six months, 750 for full year, how is that a savings? Haven't even begun strategy testing, yet.
