It appears that fundamental influences are too strong right now for me to use my standard protocol. Consequently, for the time being, I'm going to have to wait for pairs to be well into any newly established reversals before I call them.
After being stopped out after buying EURJPY—twice—I have concluded that I cannot buy the pair again until its 6-hour baseline reverses direction north, and that I should instead enter short positions whenever the rate pulls back to the upper level of its 40-minute price range and/or its 9-hour temporal resistance level; doing so as soon as the 9-minute baseline begins to realign itself with the slope of the 6-hour trend.
