Companies investing billions in ai, what if no monetary gain is possible?

I have a friend who is a prospect researcher at a university.

    What is a prospect researcher?

Prospect research, also called donor prospecting, screening, or donor research, is a technique used by nonprofit fundraisers, major gift officers, and development teams to identify high-impact donors within and beyond an organization's current donor pool.

I can see AI taking up to 1/2 of these jobs in a few years...The junior jobs.

WONDER if that AI ''dog'' can chase a coon@ nite LOL??
A racoon will lead a pack of dogs in the water, too bad for that robodog, @ nite, then jump on the dogs head + drown it.
NOT that that AI robodog could navigate A STREAM OR RIVER OR FLOOD.
On a more positive note, MCD notes an average Big Mac price of $5.29:D:D
I study trends more than opinions or news.

But then fries and cola pushes price of a meal to $10+.

Family of 5 = $50 for MCD's at an average location, or $70 if you want a desert as well.

And $100+ at the more expensive locations

I think the US AI bubble is driven by the desire to Move leading technologies out of asia. They see asia as a huge competitor and threat. There is a desperate sense to Move advanced chip, advanced machine learning, advanced Computational and Super computing as far away from asia as possible.

And if they cant move it...they will destroy it.

AI was advanced by military sciences and federally funded university sciences. They wish to contain it for military technologies. The military developed the internet and it ended up getting away from them. They don't want that to happen again. IBM off-shored all of its advancements in micro computing to asia and they realized this was also a tragic mistake.

And it will allow North america and Europe to continue economically without high level workers, which they have fewer and fewer of these days.

With a machine gun mounted on its back, like you hunting, it doesn't have to chase, just shoot.:D:D:D

On a side note, what if you order an AI Big Mac, is it edible? Maybe OK for the AI dog or AI Mr. turtle?
