It has been established, that the gov't does in fact pay some of it's hacks or similarly inclined individuals to post on internet forums to sway opinion of the gullible and naive. I can't find AK's posting history, so, it does raise a red flag, as to his motives.

Most I have seen are left-leaning, since this is where the US seems to be headed, but, anything is possible. I seriously doubt the long-timers on here are, though.
