Hey guys whats the best forecaster of commodity prices? Is it US Dollar, interest Rates, VIX, or the SPY?
It depends on the commodity. They say silver has a 70% negative correlation to the USD. I am not too sure about whether there is a universal mechanism that affects commodities apart from perhaps oil?
