guess everyone is jumping on INTC, incredible. I dont think its done going down. Think it heads back to the 17.50-18 range before heading back to 22+++

  3. No no.

It's about to break out on volume.

A nice bullish pennant is forming.

A couple of upgrades. When this bear is over INTC may be a good long-term hold. You can always sell calls against it to add income. [/QUOTE]

FWIW It maybe time to sell some calls into Labor Day. Cost basis @ 17 currently.

  7. i was thinking about selling 20 dollar calls! does that count? lol... I still think selling calls here is not a bad idea... or doing a amd/intc equity spread. with amd long.

I would agree Intel takes a few trips to $17-18
AMD is just kicking arse. The impact of AMD will be everlasting. Intel has to move over.
Intel has the new Core Duo 2 chips out for desktops which consume less power, put out less heat, and also put up impressive numbers when benchmarked. Giving AMD something to worry about...AMD has a shabby mobile line-up for products giving Intel the upperhand.
Being in the tech market for more then 10 years I KNOW Intel can produce good chips, but the problem for them is gaining the lead and keeping it. Intel has at times put their products and pricing inline with AMD for great competition, but ohh soo many times have AMD been the better buy with more horsepower. Consistantly offering top notch products.
