  1. in esignal 7.5 just type a symbol name into the chart, and then click "multiple symbols" on the window that opens

  3. weird - where do you type in the symbol?

if you click on one of your "advanced charts", and then start to type, say MSFT, there appears a box where you see what you type.. if you're using multiple monitors try looking for the box all over the place.. it should be there somewhere... can't think of anything else...

Be sure that you are selecting an Advanced Chart, and not a Standard Chart. Here's what the Change Symbol box looks like with it's Multiple Symbols drop-down box expanded.

  5. thanks---- however, i am still looking. this is my first week on esignal so i am still figuring it out. when i open an advanced chart from the qoute list, there is no where to type a new symbol. is there another way to open an advanced chart and change the symbols so the multiple symbol box appears ?

    thanks !

  9. surf,
if you hit the comma key once the box will appear , then type in the symbol. ( first you have to click on the chart though)

    hope that helps

  10. once clicked with the mouse on the advanced chart, simply:

type in a symbol (eg MSFT)
    or
type in a time frame (eg 5 for 5 minutes)

you can also type the comma to pop out the box but it's unnecessary because it will pop up anyway once you start typing the symbol or time frame.
