Savage, CME and CBOT Market Depth while it is part of 7.5, is not yet ready for beta testing, so it is not available in the current beta. Here's a thread discussing that. Please remember all support for betas is handled on our forums at the 7 Series Beta forum.
This is close to realization with the IB Buy/Sell functions in EFS. For documentation on these, please go to the IBEFS.doc file in \Program Files\eSignal\Docs folder. For help getting a custom study built with EFS, I would suggest reading through this post.
i just tried 7.5. i could not make a daily advanced chart of ES #F=2, so now i am going back to 7.4. to be clear, in 7.4 i had a chart with D as the time period and the symbol was ES #F=2. if i try to do this in 7.5, ES #F=2 will be changed to ES #F if i use D as time period.
Hi Buster, We made a change to fix a problem with regional NYSE quotes that inadvertently affected the "=2" on the emini's. We will be correcting that on the next beta. Thanks, Andy
Can I have a exact date? I am using futuresource for korea stock exchange and would like to change. how much intraday data will these exchange come with.
Jay - Thanks for the reference for the documentation on the setup for automation of trades to IB. Can you comment on when you think full automation will be implemented? If not to IB, then to other brokers? - Mike
. It can be fully automated the way it is now, but they are certain limitations. For example, EFS currently has no way of knowing what the fill price is. This may or may not impact your trading system... it just really depends on what you need to do with it. If you are using a system that is always in the market, then full automation will likely be possible. As far as when the EFS will be enhanced to remove most or all limitations for automated trading, I would suspect this would happen in the eSignal 8.x series (i.e. next year).
Jay - Thanks for your reply on IB automation. I think I am missing something. By full automation, I mean automatically placing the order with IB, without going through the step of manually approving it in the E-Signal brokerage window. Like TradeStation does, where you punch the "automate" button and trades called by the code are autoexecuted. Am I misunderstanding? Thanks. - Mike
