Coming to terms with my feelings. Long, sorry.

  1. Imagine if Obama wasn't a moderate centrist who has not done anything that hasn't been previously done by Republicans?

    The hysteria could be catastrophic.

Don't worry, he's not. And only a willfully ignorant fool would think he is.

Someone who is off the charts leftist might find Obama moderate.

That "someone" is half of America and all of the rest of the world.

  6. Your logic is flawed because your sons future is your responsibility, not your mothers. Why couldn't you just agree to disagree. She has her own life to live you know and now you've gone and deprived your son of a relationship with his granma.

Ahh yes, the highly informed MSNBC crowd, who thought that Romney was a radical far right racist that wanted to take us back to the 50's

Tsing, this election taught us that the majority of voters will now vote for whom ever promises to give them the most stuff or laws to help them individually. It is no longer who is best for the country or who has best policies to solve major problems facing us. It's who is best for "ME." It's who will give me or my group the most at the expense of others.

This IS the beginning of the end of America. You are right in being angry about that. Many are angry at the voters who voted 'me first.' There's nothing you can do about this now that is legal. I think the die has been cast and all we can do is educate others about what is happening as America sinks.

Work on insulating yourself as much as possible from the coming changes. Prepare your retreat for a probable extended stay and prepare defenses. Write your U.S. Representatives regularly to block the liberal agenda. If you live around New York or D.C. plan to move. These areas are vulnerable to bio, chemical or nuclear attack first. Keep your worth in assets, not large amounts of cash. Keep good supply smaller gold and silver coins for barter should it come to that.

  9. Disappointed Tuesday that the inevitable collapse could not be slowed down.

I haven't been associating with known socialists for quite some time. They are a selfish lot. Always trying to manipulate time and money out of you while completely capable of helping themselves. They are hoarders. They have plenty, but want to deprive you of what you have. Some of the contact and helping them is unavoidable, like elderly relatives that need help. I do not support MSM, entertainment, leftist charities and businesses run by lefties or those that support lefty causes.

I will remind Republicans that are acting more and more like Democrats of the Founding Fathers' intent. To discuss this with Democrats will always be futile.

It is my purpose to give of myself directly to individuals that will permanently better themselves for it, but i will certainly not enable dependency nor aid those that are trying to prevent me from helping others of my choice.

    Tsing,

Charity begins at home and you have exactly the right attitude.

mrbill says he 'analyzes' charities (imagine the sweat rolling off the neanderthall orbital socket), one cannot do that with external charties since the finances are invisible to us. I've supervised research for instance, I know how wasteful it can be.

Ever wonder why people want to help someone on another continent when you can typically walk to someone that is suffering? Personally helping someone you know and think is worthy of your charity is far superior to handing cash over to some orgnaization. It's harder, costs more, and is more emotional, but more rewarding.

I agree, let the government handle it, that's what the liberal's promise is all about.
