If my mother is voting against the future of my son, and not willing to listen why, then this is an easy logical decision. Remember, logic. Not emotion.
Get a freakin' grip. Not seeing your mother because of how she voted? What about turning the other cheek? What about forgiving those who trespass against us? If you really are the good man you profess to be you should act like it. Put aside your ego that you have invested into politics perhaps too much.
Society is now changed. At one time it was beneath dignity to take Government help, to subject a child to a young poor uneducated mother and to despise the successful. Now it is proper to suck off the tit of Government. This is the new morality.

The GOP for some horrible reason turned this thing into a social fight, or nearly civil rights proportions. The rewards I'm talking about are not monetary in nature. It ain't all about the dollar all day every day. Conducting your affairs with nothing but cold hard logic will leave you empty down the road.
