Hah...touche'. I guess I am a hypocrite since I have relied on that aspect of women for good period throughout my single life.
Yes, I get it, you can cling to your cognitive dissonance here in ET land. But in the real world, you and people like you are in total disarray. What to do the GOP a favor? Leave.
I agree with you on the debt ceiling not being a concern (outside of the aspect that it is yet more evidence of a government not focused on fiscal responsibility). But, being the Keynesian you are, you will likely remove the aspect of being paid in a devaluing currency.
"I live in Washington, DC, and thus have little choice but to associate with many of the vilest liberals you can imagine. You just have to learn to compartmentalize. Don't get into political discussions with them. It is pointless. Fly under their radar." Words to live by, AAA. I do something very similar.
Perhaps I should just be sorry that I didn't take math in Washington, D.C. Poor ol' me. Or maybe I should become a democrat so that I could understand. Always fun chatting with you, brother Riccie.
Would you be happier if instead of discussing temporary government spending to prop up lagging demand I discussed cutting taxes on the middle class [to prop up lagging demand]?
Only fools focused on the social aspect of this campaign and not the fiscal one. And Obama hasn't told "truth" on the fiscal side of things for a long time. All the way back to the 2008 video of him talking about how irresponsible it would be to raise the debt ceiling.
I currently have no desire to discuss anything economic with you, since I already know your viewpoint on it. I have come to realize (stated in my previous posts in this thread) that there is no convincing you of anything I know to be correct, as you will never accept the possibility you are not correct. It is a waste of effort.
