COMEX Metal Futures to Trade on Globex!

  1. liquidity in YG can be tight ... esp if I am trying to get in or out
    to hedge against fullsize gold

ps ... I have traded SI tonight ... but not GC

the mini on comex has not had any interest yet volumewise
nor am I able to tell if I can even enter orders on it even if I wanted to ... so for now .... I will stick with mini CBOT metals
when needing to do small size

    :)

  2. basis

I don't understand ... YG can be "tight" ... you say you want to hedge against big gold ... meaning you want someone to bid higher than the bid in the ZG, or offer lower? I don't follow you.

  4. if one trades gold futures ... comex seems to have less fees
    than cbot at this time

I seem to be saving about $2.00 a RT ... and the slippage is
not an issue so far for me in gold

silver is another story ... comex ( at least for me )

only lets me trade in 0.50 cent increments

and cbot with its 0.10 increment ... is giving comex a run for its money in spite of the higher commissions
