  3. I saw that movie, that was The Fugitive right? Where the mystery guy Harrison Ford is trying to track down was missing an arm and had a prosthetic one?

    Friction -- the story meant going down in to the earth, or rather perpendicular ("T" or "L") to the point of contact as the formula is
    F = uN (actually should be mhu, some kind of Greek cross between p and u)
    Friction = (coefficient of friction) * Normal force
    anyways that's my guess
