(in most cases) socialism and communism have been shown as the way for the powerful to keep out the competition and ensure that those without wealthy have just enough to be good worker drones.

I prefer the land of opportunity structure.

    Sounds like crony capitalism, too.

So do I, but at this time the structure is widely perceived to be rigged and unfair. Hence, unrest.

  4. The refreshing thing about Obama is he has stopped the traditional liberal lying about wealth redistribution. He is pretty straightforward that he is going to use the power of the government to steal the wealth of his opponents and use it to payoff his supporters. That is the simplest explanation of his giant stimulus plan that landed us in this financial mess. He and his supporters could care less about the debt or paying it off either. They don't pay taxes, and the democrats are determined that they will only accept deficit plans that punish republican voters even more.

They are like scammers that stole some rich guy's credit cards. Now they are annoyed because the card company caught on and canceled the card. They're indignant if anyone even suggests they should have some role in paying off what they stole.

How come China's stimulus plan, three times the size of ours, didn't land them in "a mess"?

Because they had the money, and they probably werent wasting it on stupid government projects, like teaching africans to wash their penis for a million dollars.

Ok, that NIMH program's spending accounts for 0.00008 percent of our stimulus spending, please continue.

Should we assume there is no waste in China's stimulus?
