lots of hard work and luck. By luck access to capital to launch one and ending up in industry where your product is needed.
And why I put ... "Does it happen every time. Of course not." How's COIN looking now ... below it's open? Oh you wanted it at $250. Why not $2.50 then? Other than how much margin it takes for a higher price stock, the price you buy at is a lot less important than the price you sell at - if done right.
Coinbase IPO is a huge score for the crypto platform’s”Who’s Who” list of private equity investors https://www.marketwatch.com/story/c...E4BA55144CAA0A4C98A5%40AdobeOrg|TS=1618432661
I still don't understand why the public can't have access to secondary listings and new startups in the first rounds of a companies beginnings. Yes there is risk of course but just to be able to back a future company from the beginning should be available to all not just the venture capitalists and billionaires. Coinbase first sold shares at 20 cente a piece in 2013.
Hindsight analysis / reverse engineering / playback or whatever analysis yesterday there was an opportunity to short COIN about 15 minutes after opening. after that, there was no trading opportunity.
Well, seeing how pree open price kept creeping up to 350, 375, 380.... I placed a buy at 375 and waited.... When it opened and popped to 400 I laughed, canceled my purchase and went to bed (past 1 am in my time zone). Waking up this am (your afternoon) to see COIN at 350 is strangely satisfying.
Come on man.... don't even consider playing crap like this. I had you pegged as a cat that's been around for awhile. Why play roulette when one can count cards at the 21 table? This is like Salty shorting GME. There's no science behind it. You're gambling. Tossing a coin. You kinda let me down bro. Like I said, I had you pegged as one of the better players here.
