We could start with the misinformation you've been posting up about how much he charges and how he makes 150k a year risk free.

    HE DOESN'T CHARGE PER MONTH.

  3. Yes, he does. Check the website. The "monthly fee" (his words, not mine) is $500.

    500 bucks a month is 6,000 USD a year.

If he has 25 clients from around the world who sign up for his new plan, that would be 500 X 12 X 25, which is 150K.

If he has 50 clients from around the world, that would be 300K.

If he has 100 clients from around the world who sign up for the new plan, that would be 600K.

  4. Ok...so he was high up on your list and now he's very suspicious (flip flopping opinion).

Further, your guessing via the IF statements about the income level of his fee-based signal calling chat room service.

    Here's my guess.

I've actually discussed the income levels with several chat room owners that run a fee-based signal calling chat room.

Based upon what they said, I think austinp only has 4 paying clients per month and they don't renew beyond 5 months at the $500 rate.

Yet, he may have other room visitors that he's giving a free pass sort'uv speak to help the room be more active which comes across as being popular.

    Thus, 4 clients x $500 x 12 months subscription = 24k per year

I'm also going to guess he'll be able to find 4 new clients every 5 months or so. :p

Actually, I prefer my guess in comparison to an earlier poster guess that austinp has the ability to doctor (edit) videos to give the impression he's the real deal.

Lots of guessing in this thread including my own.

However, lets pretend he's making a few million dollars per year from his fee-based signal calling chat room.

I think (guessing) he won't be hanging out at ET to look for clients unless he's working with someone that manages his business (chat room) for him.

Thus, he's probably here just to be a regular guy and on a few occassions to defend his business although I personally believe the latter is inappropriate considering he's not a sponsor of ET.

I'm also going to guess that IF his chat room becomes popular...

We aren't going to be seeing him around ET too much if at all because of the popular fee-based signal calling chat room owners I know that are making big bucks...

They don't have the time to hang out at places like ET because they are too busy managing their business.

  7. I'm not flip-flopping. I still say he's a nice guy (at least to me so far), but find it suspicious that he cannot stick to trading the same market(s). I am also suspicious of ANYONE who would charge $500 a month to teach someone how to trade (six grand is about two years of tuition at a decent state university--that's a lot of money for "education").

    Is that so unreasonable?

  8. <i>"(six grand is about two years of tuition at a decent state university--that's a lot of money for "education")."</i>

$3,000 per year tuition? In what state... Arkansas or West Virginia? Holly's oldest son is paying more than that for dorm rent alone at Alfred Tech next year. His toolbox filled will cost twice that.

Synic, you've become quite familiar with me. One fact you neglected to mention is that I hold myself to minimum performance goals each month in exchange. Perhaps you just forgot to make note of that while compounding the earlier math. I happen to think that's an important distinction, myself.

I'm really not worth all this attention. Honestly. Unless you have all reached your pinnacle performance as traders, why the hell are you wasting precious time following this drivel? That's something only the 95% failure pool would do. The other 5% would be studying charts and honing skills for tomorrow.

Make this easy on ya. When I return to post, it'll be live trade blotters in the P&L 2008 thread. ES only, one contract turned to begin and we'll grow (or blow) from there. The ER is no longer tradable per my standards and the NQ is fine but ES meets all my current and future needs. So ES it is.

If it really makes everyone happy, I'll also pay the $500 monthly for my right to post real trades in there to support your right flame me elsewhere in true democratic fashion.

We'll probably start a new movement to legitimize ET. I'd assume all other information vendors who dispense trading methods, systems or tactics to follow suit. After all, everyone who takes time out special just to teach & share from the kindness of their hearts don't have need to sell anything... they are already successful traders, right? Right?

I thought so. With that fact established, it won't be any bother at all for everyone to back up tactics taught free with real-time trade blotters as proof their info works. How hard is it to snag a screenshot of the day's run sheet showing time & sales filled, order #s as proof of real trade performance to validate teachings?

Synic (et al), what better way can you think of to uplift and support the masses here following all information dispensers collectively than real-time runsheet blotters posted for all to see in the P&L 2008 thread? What (if any) reasons can anyone think of why all the ET educators wouldn't fight to be first in line for that honor?

Personally, I cannot think of any reasons not to myself. So I'll be there. Looking forward to a groundswell of teachers to join me.

    Out :)

  9. LOL, look forward to seeing you there austinp, I hope you're serious about posting come rain or shine.

For anyone else, consider it the price of initiation. If you can't at least compete on his terms, don't bother to citicize what he does. Whether you "win" or not, just be a "man' about it and bring your game to the table, not for anyone else (I'm soooo over that), but for yourself.

    Good trading,

  10. How long could you stay away? One day.

As for being mature, rational, and professional, I have not personally attacked you once, and have gone as far as complementing you. On the contrary, you have used some pretty unprofessional language on this so-called rubbish thread. I don't think I ever said that anyone here was full of $hit, and that includes Pabst

You can talk all you want about walking the talk, but your own words speak for themselves.

Best wishes on your new CTA. I assume that you will be starting any day now, and if your documented results are impressive, I will be the first to congratulate you.:)

    Out!
