Morning in Rome, Italy has already passed. It's time to coffee-break.

    TradGrab,

You are right, commercials and large traders take opposite positions. So if the traders flat their long positions, price will go lower. Let us see how the price moves in the next few weeks for the Mar07 contract

Pulled the plug on long March Coffee for now with a tidy profit of about 17 cents($6,375) on average per trading unit. I will look to get back in later.

  6. Hi Ishmael. Hope all is going well for you.

Just a quick question, if I may.

If you are planning on holding this position for a long time, why didn't you buy the September or December contracts?

    Thanks and good luck !

    :)

Sold July Coffee today at 115.00 for a 3.70 gain (1387.50). Looking to perhaps re enter on a pullback. I decided not to let this one run any further as we have had trouble breaking the 117-11 area.

Looks like this is a good sale for now. Price is currently at 112.80 as I write. I am not ready to reenter long just yet.
