CNN sues President Trump and top White House aides for barring Jim Acosta

  1. That was already addressed by the court clearly and by a few if my posts. 5th amendment was the issue in this case, 1st Amendment was a tangential issue that was not the subject of the decision. Read the decision before stating an opinion.

5th amendment is only about criminal proceedings. Mr Acosta has not been charged with anything and has not been deprived of life, liberty or property with regard to criminal case. You'll see in the fullness of time that I am correct. Don't ever tell me to read a decision that I have already read and act in a dismissive manner towards me again.

Hopefully a person of even the meanest intelligence would understand the difference between a comma and a semi-colon. Your leftist leanings lately are troubling.

Now that ex-CNN employees and current CNN employees and the balance of the White House Press Corps who can’t get a question in edgewise have eviscerated Jim Acosta thoroughly - sure, come on back. Now it is known that his fellow CNN compatriots rate him a carnival barker.

  5. I act dismissive because you don't know the 5th Amendment and the court already stated it was a 5th amendment issue as did many lawyers who are way smarter than you or me. 5th amendment is NOT just about a criminal proceeding. So I was being dismissive to you because you were flat out wrong and if me being dismissive to you is a problem, then put on your big boy pants and stop whining.

I don't have any leanings, I just addressed this case on the law itself which you need to study a little more. Amazing that you feel you know better than a Trump appointed federal judge and several constitutional law experts....

  8. You can argue over an opinion but never the facts. Most people know nothing about the 5th Amendment and when they say this was not a criminal proceeding it means they never read the 5th amendment or studied Constitutional law even in the slightest.

Also don't attribute a political leaning just because you don't have an argument. No one knows my political bias and I will call bullshit equally on either side happily because ALL politicians/parties are full of shit. I believe George Washington properly identified the evils of party politics going back 200 years.

Here is some light reading on the subject for those interested:

  9. There was no arbitrary denial of life, liberty or property. The press pass is no more the property of Acosta than a leased car would be. Whatever. Now that we've seen that the courts and media cannot be trusted it's up to Trump to take charge. All press cconferences need to be via some live stream video conferencing. "Journalists" can text their questions and Sanders or Trump can answer as they please. Anyone expecting Acosta to suddenly become professional doesn't know the left. Appeasing them has never, never ever resulted in them saying, okay that's all we wanted. Invariably the leftist will push the envelope even further. The carnival continues.

  10. By himself, and to himself for the most part because most of the people he's responding to are either stupid or willfully ignorant. Which, for all intents and purposes, is a distinction without a difference.
