I wonder how much they'll get for the CNN direct stream subscription channel?

Somehow, in all public places, TV is still tuned to the fake news CNN. I wonder if they pay for this priviledge.

  3. Another CNN flop underway.

It might make it through December. OR NOT.

A head of lettuce could not last that long so it is doubtful.

TV Ratings: CNN's ‘King Charles' Premiere Flops

The weekly show, hosted by Gayle King and Charles Barkley, drew just 501,00 viewers for its debut, according to same-day Nielsen ratings (it adjusted up a little from 486,000 in fast nationals). It finished a distant third among the biggest cable news channels in total viewers and didn't really moving the needle from CNN's recent averages in the hour. In fact, it ranks as the smallest audience of any of CNN's primetime debuts this year.

  4. CNN "preparing for the future" yet again. GIGGLE.
If you are at CNN and want to prepare for the future at CNN, then get in the frigging lifeboat because that is how you prepare for the future at CNN.

I thought they just went through some version of this with their dumphuk podcast plan.

The article asks the question: "Will viewers pay to watch CNN on their phones?" Teacher, teacher, call on me. I think I have the answer. Dumphuks incarnate.

New CNN Boss Shakes Up News Operations, Explores Digital Subscription Model

Will people pay to watch CNN videos on their phones? New CNN boss Mark Thompson seems eager to test that idea.

When he took over as the network’s CEO in October, Thompson warned staff that CNN was nowhere near ready for the future and needed to step up its digital game. One hundred days later, he is laying the groundwork to do that.

  5. CNN plunges behind History Channel, obscure Western network in prime time ratings

Ratings-challenged CNN’s total viewership in prime time last week lagged behind the History Channel and an obscure cable network — founded by televangelists Jim and Tammy Faye Bakker — that plays Western TV shows and films, according to the latest figures released by Nielsen.

CNN not only finished behind rivals Fox and MSNBC, but was the 10th most-watched channel on cable, getting beat by Hallmark, The History Channel and INSP, a South Carolina-based channel founded in the late 1970s by the Christian televangelists.

Fox News, whose parent company Fox Corp. is the corporate sister of The Post’s owner News Corp., topped all networks with an audience of 2.091 million in prime time, according to Nielsen.

  7. New CNN program is tanking.

    I AM SHOCKED!!!

CNN's 'King Charles' another ratings disaster for struggling network, losing 20% of viewers since its debut

The star power behind CNN's weekly primetime experiment "King Charles" has quickly lost its luster among viewers as the network continues struggling to maintain a sturdy programming lineup.

"King Charles," named after co-hosts Gayle King and Charles Barkley, premiered in late November with a dismal audience of 500,000 total viewers and 139,000 in the advertiser-coveted demographic of ages 25-54, according to Nielsen Media Research.

Since then, viewership cratered a whopping 20% as the Jan. 31 broadcast fell to 400,000 total viewers. Just 89,000 of those in the key demo, a stunning 36% drop.

I am just waiting for the Artificial Intelligence robots to take over and spread the nasty propaganda of CNN. No benefits, no complaining, no sick time, no bonuses, no paychecks, 24/7 non-stop and hard working, etc. It is all good for business but, the overpaid hacks like Erin Burnett, Anderson Cooper, etc. Good thing, they can save a lot of monies by laying them all off.
