I.assume polled people who chose NBc or CBS probably trust them for their local news mainly...the poll question is kind of open ended about which media outlet do.you trust. I trust my local FOX and NBC news for things going on in my area...its pretty straightforward news, events, weather etc...
Because CNN sucks......that's why. CNN Gets Terrible News It appears that CNN has hit rock bottom as the network recorded the lowest weekend ratings in a key demographic in its entire history. Critics say this is “a real sign” of the collapse of the network. CNN has been criticized for becoming increasingly biased and promoting a radical far-left political agenda. Many of the network’s hosts and reporters openly express their vehement hatred of former President Trump. CNN saw just 55,000 viewers from the important 25- to 54-year-old demographic during the past weekend. Only 43,000 watched its Sunday prime-time shows. This represents the worst weekend in CNN’s history since viewership records were first tracked in 1991. “CNN is a ratings embarrassment,” an industry insider said. “At least with Thompson they will have a direction.” In recent years, scandal-plagued CNN has forced out a number of high-profile employees in disgrace. This includes anchors Don Lemon and Chris Cuomo, former CNN president Jeff Zucker, senior producer John Griffin, producer Rick Saleeby, supervising producer Steve Brusk, host Elliot Spitzer, and legal analyst Jeffrey Toobin. In May 2023, CNN held a town hall event with former President Donald Trump. This proved too much to bear for the left-wing network. Star CNN anchor Anderson Cooper was outraged over the event and suggested to viewers that they have a right to “never watch this network again.” Following the backlash, CNN Chairman and CEO Chris Licht stepped down in less than one month later in June 2023. he downward spiral for CNN is worsening as other smaller networks have begun beating CNN in prime-time ratings. During the crucial 8-10 p.m. ET time slots, Newsmax netted 709,000 viewers during the 8-9 p.m. hour of “Eric Bolling the Balance” compared to 640,000 for CNN’s “Anderson Cooper 360” airing at the same time. If I was running CNN, I'd give Tucker a two hour 8PM-10PM time-slot and all the rope he needs to hang himself. F political leanings and C-suite ideologies.... it's a business. Viewer count is everything. Break open the checkbook and roll the dice with an 18 month contract. It takes money to make money and they have nothing to lose at this point. 55K viewers... rotfff.... the Baywatch channel on DTV beat that one.
Throw a decent quality barber in the new contract. I'd have fired him back then too with a haircut like that.
