You know I was going to say that yesterday morning. When the Tehran thing was going on, Fox and MSNBC we're doing their usual political bs, Trump this, Kamala that... but CNN looked like the CNN of old. They had excellent coverage. But before you break out the party favors... I checked last night to see if it was a fluke... and sure enough they had a "Lets all hate Trump" round-table going.
As I have said many times, "some of these clowns are like that fly on your potato salad at the picnic that won't go away. Anderson Cooper's 'angry' subway selfie leaves fans stunned as speculation grows over CNN staff cuts Cohen shared a selfie of their trip and poked fun at Cooper's scowl as he was 'not having it on the A train tonight', with many stunned by the cost-cutting transport given Cooper's reported $20 million salary at CNN. 20 million? We don't know what the real number is but we know it is too much. Any amount is. I guess it costs a lot to get ratings that low. Enjoy it while it lasts. Where has your sense of compassion gone for our fellow human beings? Especially as a giving personal as yourself? Do you even realize how hard it is for highly paid Communist propagandists to find employment these days? What's next? Comedians?
The article below is not about CNN but I will post it here anyway. Same larger discussion about lefty cable networks. What will happen to CNBC and MSNBC when they no longer have a corporate connection to NBC News? https://apnews.com/article/networks-cnbc-msnbc-comcast-new-company-00bf676f225f1c89026ef15bf8915ec9
I think CNBC can survive as a streaming offering like for like $10/month. Maybe Bloomberg can buy them and get rid of their only real cable competitor. Media that provides users money making information always seem to do the best like Bloomberg, WSJ/Barrons, sports betting websites/channels. One of my friends runs a website that tracks all online SnG Poker tournaments and he makes >$1 million/yr. As for MSNBC I'm not sure. In many ways it is to progressives as FoxNews is to conservatives but I've seen many YouTube channels that are more entertaining and progressive like The Young Turks. I find Maddow quite dry & boring, but she is popular. She could probably make more money on Spotify as a podcaster. Scarborough & that blonde lady in the morning were more entertaining in my opinion.
