The networks during WW II didn't air Nazi propaganda films nor did they send reporters out to film enemy operations. CNN's founder Ted Turner has explicitly stated that he doesn't "take sides" between the US and terrorists. He and his network are free to take that position, but they shouldn;t expect to be treated differently from, say, Al Jazeera. No responsible US commander would let Al Jazeera reporters be embedded with his unit for fear of compromise. They should start treating CNN the same way. If they are in bed with terrorists and don't regard themselves as part of our side, why should be we trust them?
