It's their favorite song. They'll be blaming Obama for decades to come. Hell, they still try to blame Clinton for stuff that happened after his term. *cough*nine'leven*cough*

WASHINGTON (AP) — Senior U.S. intelligence officials say they have no evidence of direct Russian government involvement in the shooting down of Malaysia Airlines Flight 17.

They say the passenger jet was likely felled by an SA-11 surface-to-air missile fired by Russian-backed separatists in eastern Ukraine and that Russia "created the conditions" for the downing by arming the separatists.

The officials briefed reporters Tuesday under ground rules that their names not be used in discussing intelligence related to last week's air disaster, which killed 298 people.

They said they did not know if any Russians were present at the missile launch, and they wouldn't say that the missile crew was trained in Russia.

A senior official said the most likely explanation was the plane was shot down by mistake

  7. Well what would you have him do? Attack Russia?

Don't you think we have sat imagery of exactly what happened? Isn't it odd that we haven'tseen any of it?

  8. When the first Russian airplanes and helicopters appeared over Crimea, the Ukrainian authorities closed entire airspace (all echelons) over it claiming they could not guarantee safety, even though no fighting was taking place. That was the right approach - better safe than sorry.
The question is why didn't they close entire airspace over Donetsk region after multiple military airplanes and helicopters have been shot down by different weapons over that area?
Now both USA and Ukrainian authorities claim that separatists bragged about having an operational BUK system on July 14, so they knew that separatists had ground-to-air weapons capable of reaching 10km altitude. Yet they kept the skies open for commercial jet liners. Is it just me or it's a case of utter negligence?

  9. It was reported that many other airlines were flying that route including Aeroflot 86 times in the past seven days, Ukraine International Airlines 62 times, Lufthansa 56 times and Singapore Airlines 75 times. Singapore Airlines SQ351 and Air India AI113 were within 15 miles when MH17 was shot down. Facts from flightradar24.com

  10. More lies from the American Propaganda Brigade .... in all likelihood, the plane was shot down by the USA with a Russian-made missile "borrowed" from the newly installed Ukrainian junta. Anyone who believes otherwise is simply naive .... but no worries, Vladimir Putin will set them right soon enough.
