Amanda Grove was the hottest chick ever on CNBC. She left a couple years ago to be a regular news anchor. Maria used to be hot around 6-7 years ago, now she just looks old and tired.
How about most days! You just know she loves playing that role! And arguably the sharpest on her feet of 'em all. Probably because of those very large eyes, and the fact that she is very dark-haired done blond = contrasting eyebrows, big eyelashes and corresponding skin tone against the blond. (took me a while to figure it out) . Seems like she also did a stint on CNN prior to Fox. They've all certainly gotten their mileage out of her. Yep, that's why they're on the tube - keeping viewers locked on... Maria's gradual exodus from the trenches seems to have already brightened her demeanor as she moves up to bigger roles at NBC - still the babe. Her new contract keeps Fox from snatching her when its business channel finally starts up. For her age and track record, you've got to hand it to Consuelo Mack for still holding forth as the professional financial news woman on CNBC, and with her Wall Street Journal report. Nanette Hansen is cute, and has finally caught on to the CNBC-required chit-chat style. What about the relatively new Myra Kulucky? She is vibrant and intellegent - could be a real sleeper. And who was the Japanese-heritage anchor/reporter who originally came from the west coast, and phased out of CNBC with a stint starting?/heading up the CNBC Europe desk before she went (back) to San Francisco television? She struck me as super cute and very professional.
Yeah, I believe CNBC has heard something along those lines for years. She is quite aware of it...and still keeps up a good face about it... The word is that she is a long-time financial reporter highly respected in Germany and well versed in all of the markets. Quite the mature German warrior-maiden, don't you think...? All she needs is the Valkyrie helmet, breastplate and double-sided battle axe! OK, be nice, now... They all say Sylvia's truly as sweet as a person there is. And, she's already married...
The least they could do is give her some knock out German babe sidekick to sit next to her and look pretty!
In the book "The Fortune Tellers" it notes that the reason MB was put onto the floor was because she's from Brooklyn, and is/was hot..and being that the majority of traders on the floor were "outer-boro" types they were more likely to flirt with her, and give her valuable intel.... Best, David
