  1. A great indication of how hard it has been to make money on Wall Street, or the floor of the NYSE for that matter.

Why would anyone leave Morgan Stanley and the NYSE trading floor for a position at CNBC, that probably pays peanuts?

And this isn't the first time that we have seen someone from a major investment banking firm leave Wall Street.

Last month, a hi-tech analyst at a major wall street firm left his position to become head of public/investor relations at Oracle.

    Wow, the retrenchment continues.

  2. Cmon it cant be that bad they are brokers, maybe a small drop in pay, but think about it, TV pays alot of money and all she has to do is talk to a few friends and boom she writes a small speech and she is done for the day. Plus good money.. Nice break for her. She will be back on the floor in a few years probably just wants a break I am sure..... :)
