    You’re right. These two guys don’t understand what a cost benefit analysis is. When you factor in the deficit and interest for such a small amount of growth it’s not worth it.

    A targeted tax cut toward the working class through a reduced payroll tax and a flattening of the corporate tax would have been much more effective. This tax bill was a sham to pay off the wealthy. A perfect example is that carried interest stayed. A simple move of taxing carried interest on gains over one million per year would have paid for a massive middle class tax cut on its own.

    I would be extremely careful about using the Federal Reserve as an indicator of future economic expansion based on their questionable forecasting abilities.
