First - forget the speed round for it is a knee jerk reaction. If he hits the bear button is does not mean sell now and likewise to the bull button. He just giving general direction of stock price movement relating to experience. Listen to "SELL, SELL, SELL" and "I WOULD BUY THIS STOCK NOW". I have been tracking 60 or so of his opinions and only two days in the past month has he been 20% wrong. Show including speed round: Examples: Largest winners % wise are goog, pnc, shld, unh Largest loosing % xec cvx hawk I posed this question to Jim Cramer today - Why do you hold yahoo and not buy google? Is he frozen somehow? I am up 19% in four weeks.
how did you miss the big losses on onxx, sup, sbl,gs,. he has had a good run the last couple of weeks but the market has been straight up. hard to lose then.
You have to watch the details and do the home work: He did not say "I WOULD BUY THIS STOCK NOW" rather "I like these stock here" or "this stock is for me". Other examples: "Buy VLO below 67 and sell at 72" - SIMPLE, DIRECT AND CORRECT "Buy SHLD one share now (was in the 132 range when stated) and buy another if it goes to 100" - THIS TELLS ME THAT SHLD MIGHT GO TO 100 SO I SET AND MISSED THIS STOCK. Watch for catalyst (one of the three things to watch for). "Buy JNJ best of breed (stated when stock was 68)" now it 67 and change with meeting announcements/FRIDAY. NOW OF THE THREE ABOVE WHERE IS THE MONEY? I will give you that the show is 75% entertainment and 25% requires SOME ACTION.
lets not forget the "SELL HPQ AMAT SEMIS!!!" 2 fridays ago LOL ITS OFFICAL - fade Cramer post calls! He's nothing but a court jester now.
Why is this string getting so much attention? You have two choices people, watch it or don't watch it. It's REALLY not that complicated. Well, maybe for some of you it is.
I used to be damn near the only one defending the bald one for some time. I see others have gotten religion. I am up 3833% in the past year on Mr Booyaa's calls.
EBAY up almost 2% after Cramer touted it last night. Unbelievable how he can move a $50B stock, albeit on volume of around 1% of the average daily volume.
