Lucrum, throughout much of my life I had ready access to outstanding medical care, the best available. I now have at least an acceptable level of access and care, though it is not great.. But I am not blind to the needless suffering of those who have been driven to bankruptcy, to those working poor without dependents who can't, no matter how low their income, qualify for medicaid, and can barely afford the $25 fee at a charity clinic let alone a $20K operation. If they do eventually get access via the Emergency Room doors, they will be trailed the remainder of their lives by a cadre of hospital lawyers ready to pounce on any asset they might otherwise have acquired.

I'm afraid what U.S. style medical care needed went far beyond "tweaking."

The ACA doesn't fix these problems, it mainly just cost shifts. The real problem is costs that are 100% too high. Fix that and you can easily fix the rest.

    dangerously disingenuous.
You try to absolve the democrats for this law with ever trick in the book..

The law is the way it is because Pelosi Obama an Reid and other dems were purchased by insurance companies.

Previously you tried to blame republicans for modifying the law.
But, not one voted for it... Every single provision was in the complete control of the democrats and the insurance companies who bought them out.

Regarding Single payer. That was stripped out by Obama Pelosi Reid and the insurance companies. Had they allowed it in they would have easily gotten some republican votes as well. As many larger companies would like to off load their healthcare costs.

Remember this law passed without a single republican vote.
It could have been designed anyway the democrats wanted.

What the Dems sellouts created was insurance company care.
Just like the republicans created drug company care with Medicare part d.

So stop bullshitting... demand your team come back to the table and fix this crap or throw it out before it destroys our economy.

Stop covering for them with well written lies.
