CNBC contest info

  1. the site says we can make up to 50 trades per day..25 buy and 25 sells? also.no shorting? am i correct with this or are the rules different?

    No, no shorting.

    So far, all my orders are "pending." I placed them when the market opened :mad:
     
  3. You guys have to read the rules, all orders are priced at the close. No matter time you put them in, they are filled at the closing price so you will not see them filled until the next day at the previous day's closing price.

  6. even worse, CNBC will not pay out the $1 million at once or even give you a present value pay out. It is an annuity over 20 years. Like they have no idea of the present value of money lol...
     
  7. How can there be any rankings if I'm filled at the closings on the first day of the contest and any activity is calculated at the closing of the next day ....today? I'm 76,thousand something.
