Just another update on this thread... 2 years later. The Hussman Fund outperformed the S&P 500 by 34 percentage points since the beginning of 2007... -4.9% for HSGFX versus -38.6% for the S&P 500. On Morningstar, the Hussman fund is beating the S&P 500 on every trailing period. Martin
