  1. I think they got a dollar a kill, which was a lot of money back then, but they went through many months without a dime until they could find a migrating herd. And all they had to do was kill them, there was a whole nuther crew that skinned them.

The way it worked was, you had a 50 caliber set up on a tripod and an assistant to pour water to keep if from getting too hot.

And that's how we went from having a virtually unlimited food supply to food stamps.

Ha ha ha - true. We certainly don't have a buffalo over population problem on the plains of America any more.

But we do have some itsy bitsy spider that nobody should care about shutting down a multi million dollar highway project indefinitely.

  3. it's more real if you get it for free. That's why I sponser listener supported radio. And I also support doner sponsered government. Let the people who really care pay for it. If you want Big Bird, send them a check. If you want republicans, send them a check. I'm already donating my union dues to support democrats, it seems a little unfair to also ask me to support republicans. Can't anybody pay for themselves any more?

  4. you have no idea how important that spider is to your survival. And to kill it in ignorance is nothing less than what we did to the buffalo.

Take care of the land, and everything will take care of itself.

If you don't like the socialist reliance on the government, start teaching people how to take care of the land.

If we took care of the land we would hardly need the government at all.

The only function of the government would be to screw people out of the bounty of the land.

Bigger, more important species go extinct every year. Besides, it was one spider and they killed it to see if it was the endangered spider! Duh.

Maybe that is why it is endangered. It is supposed to go extinct.

  7. if you get bored, you can sign up for a refresher course at your local community colllege for a small fee (or even get a government loan or grant) and they will have a chart about what species (according to history) should go extinct.

Man is probably overdue for extinction on that chart. You and I probably won't have to worry about it a whole lot longer anyway. :D

Stop eating, breathing and driving around in your car. That will help, some say.
