It's the same way here in Québec City...some of my favorite stores say they will continue denying entry to those not vaccinated.

They didn't agree with the government back in January about their planned removal of mandates / restrictions in February.

I got an email yesterday from my kid's school administration...sports will resume if your child is fully vaccinated and face masks will be worn if the other school has players that recently tested positive.
    • The schools made that decision...not the government. Yeah, as a Parent...if I want to attend the game...I must show my vaccine pass to enter. Those not vaccinated not allowed entry.
This is exactly what the Canadian government wanted...to stop mandating citizens and let businesses, schools, events make the decision about what they want to do (types of restrictions) now that we have been seeing dramatic declines in the Omicron wave.

Heck, even the Olympic team hockey players are wearing face masks if the other team had players that tested positive for Covid. We still kicked ROC asses while wearing face masks in a hockey game. :D

    No more cancellation of sports.

If I recall, Aquarian1 was based in Point Roberts so he is exaggerating as he has a right wing brain and whatever he immediately sees must be everywhere.

Point Roberts is a Washington state ghost town in the making
The pandemic has cut off this tiny American exclave from the rest of the world.
