Let me be clear I actually disagree w/the gov's/policeman actions on this one. Hence why it's on the c'mon Canada thread.

I would have liked to see how much "honking" the old man was doing in the residential neighborhood and how many times he did it.

For example, if only once...yeah...him being arrested was a bit excessive. Yet, if he had been honking consistently for several minutes or longer...

I've seen teenagers and homeowners fined / arrested here in Canada for loud music during one of their parties. Not sure why some old "short" man should be allowed to disturb the peace. :D
    • Yet, him telling the Police to "Fuck Off" is classic and calling the Police a "Commie"...short man with a big mouth.
It would have been just as funny to see his grandson or granddaughter come to the jail to pay his fine and bail him out...I think he would have been yelling profanity all the way out the door. It's appropriate in this thread via the thread title only.

Seriously, as a citizen and resident of both the United States and Canada...arrests for "loud noise disturbances in the community" are far less common in Canada but they result in fewer shootings/deaths too at the hands of the Police.

P.S. Look for my message post about a very short guy (midget) in Racine, Wisconsin that told my brothers and me to fuck off unless we wanted to get our asses kicked when we drove up there from Evanston to look for girls when we were in high school.
    • We were tall kids for our age.
That old man in the Canada video reminds me of the Racine, Wisconsin midget.

I forgot to mention that the removal/easing of mandates (arranged in early January) was coordinated somewhat with the mailing of millions of free Covid tests in the states in the United States and the millions of free antigen Covid tests being handed out at the pharmacies in the provinces of Canada.

Walmart Canada Pharmacy announced today they're now handing out free antigen Covid tests and that their pharmacies are fully staffed with professional healthcare workers. :)

And yet, the Canadian government continues to try and suppress the truck demonstrations by all means available to them? Seems to be more and more like fascism as practiced by our own ET trolls trying to shutdown contrary opinion because they cannot win the arguments? There is a cabal of elites out there alright. Ever hear of their Bilderbergs who hold meetings once, a year? Their meetings are top secret and nobody is allowed inside, no reporters, no nothing. What are they hiding? It includes top government officials of various countries plus the filthy rich. If they have nothing to hide, everything would be done in the open. The same way the Arizona audit was opposed by the Maricopa officials who were all RINOs. Even now, they have not allowed the auditors to finished the audit of the electronic devices used in the November 3, 2020 elections. Of course, the auditors found a lot of election irregularities putting the result in doubt.

As the Republicans in the United States continue supporting Canada's Freedom Convoy...

I don't think they expected that this would have slowly caused road blockages on the United States side of the border in Windsor...disrupting about 25% of the goods and healthcare workers that cross the border into the United States.

    Ambassador Bridge (Windsor) Entering Canada

Businesses now starting to feel the financial costs via excessive overtime work hours for the truckers trying to cross the bridge...most are not protesting...just trying to deliver their goods.

Also, Winnipeg Truckers and Protesters have vowed to remove any of those that they see with fascist signs, swastika signs, and remove those with alt-right connections.

As I've stated many times, we live in a very unhealthy society (physically and mentally) that has people that will do whatever it takes to extend/continue the Covid Pandemic with a lot of Covidiots following them over the edge.

  6. Hundreds of thousands - if not millions of Canadians, are very grateful and thankful to the truckers. The truckers are on side and we are on their side.

    We love you truckers!

    Stay tuned...
    • Auto plants on both sides of the border are shutting down today due to a lack of supply in parts because of the Freedom Convoy.
    • Agriculture products not getting to companies on both sides because of the Freedom Convoy.
I see a problem as stated several days ago...the majority of people including the CTA and most truckers do not support the misguided Freedom Convoy...Unions will fight back.
    • Yet, they do agree they have the right to peaceful protesting that doesn't hurt Canadians.
Thus, hurting others especially businesses on the borders that have nothing to do with vaccine mandates will not garner support for them...vaccine mandates that are scheduled to be removed/easing for February since early January.

High vaccination rates and dramatically declining Covid numbers...its time to move on...beyond the Covidiots here in Canada and the United States although Immunologist, Virologists and Infectious Disease folks will argue its because of infection rate of Omicron (fast global spread with most only having mild illness).
    • 9 out of 10 Canadians have been vaccinated
Gyms are open this week as scheduled/promised to occur in February that I didn't see open back in January. My favorite bagel place will open on Monday February 7th as scheduled since January.
