CME...why is it up today?

  1. Don't you think possible investigations and regulations will dampen speculative trading and thereby total volume on the exchanges?

  2. I do. However I figured that if speculation in oil drops off, the volume will be offset by volume in other instruments. Perhaps I am wrong on this, I'm not sure.

  3. What will happen If the Nymex members vote down the cme takeover bid? Is this bullish or bearish for nmx stock?

Obvioulsy If the cme is forced to raise its bid its bullish for nmx. I want to go long nmx for this reason but dont want to get burned initially when the deal gets voted down.

    suggestions? maybe call options?

  4. CME is a buy down here at 400. I'm waiting for the results of the NMX vote to buy.
