I thought something was off again with the accounting, but I had so many trades today, that I believed the CME Ghost. So originally I thought I ended up losing -7K by the close. Well, guess what, I have just checked again and I actually ended with 5K in the green, thus I feel much better now. I post the CVS file if somebody wants to look up the former leaders. I am #266. This was my best trade: I went long Palladium last night just below 1930 with 7 contracts. I cashed out with almost 19K just about 2 points from the very top. Did I say it was hard to predict the top?
And this leaderboard works a bit strange. I made screen 10 maybe 15 minutes after close, and now the leaderboard looks a little different (still in 10, but there is 1 guy that "jumped" into it)
To the ET participants in this challenge: it was fun watching you guys participate in this challenge, and writing about it here. Thank you for doing so. How did the Pro in this "challenge against a Pro" do?
At least this time he finished in the green. Last time he actually lost money. He used to be a teacher at TopStepTrader, so we should expect a fairly decent showing from him. Now the whole "Trade against a Pro" is just a PR thing and they are using the whole contets to promote CME, so he probably doesn't take it too seriously.
He'll never be able to have a good showing unless he puts all of his business aside that he's contracted to do...that would allow him to devote himself to the simulator trading competition. CME Group doing a lot of things wrong and one of those things involves using someone (Bob Iaccino) for their PR that's actually too busy with other things (live TV shows per month, Chief Market Strategist for Tethys Partners and a few other things). Thus, I'm not concern about what he did in the past. I would be concern about what he's doing during the trading challenge considering he's the face of the PR. Yet, to use a professional trader would imply its a trader making a living doing something else (trading related) and would need to put aside whatever he/she is doing just to simulate trade. wrbtrader
Sorry, I missed this post. I pretty much meant go in right then and hold through Friday. It did keep going, got up to $166.5. That would have bumped you another $10,500. You'd have made #2 lol. Regardless, an awesome job Spectre. I shorted Palladium Weds night like an idiot and fell way back. #256. Beat the Pro though, although obviously he was trading like he would in real life and we were all having fun, so kudos to him also.
