Can someone please tell me why CME tic charts are not as reliable as they once were. Thanks in an anticipation
do you mean that they get bad prints? How was the tic chart ever reliable...it's just another chart, not the holy grail.
about a year ago Cme started combing multiple trades into one print on a tape. Thus accurate tic are not reported. I would suggest looking into constant volume bars. If used properly they are the best chart type for intra day trading. To get more info read the thread called "why people use odd tic, volume and range bars".
