I recently have been placing stops on the CME as stop/limit. On buy stops the limit is always above the trigger and with sells the limit below. Regardless, I have had instances where every once in a while the trigger price will be hit but the stop is not triggered. I trade through IB but its my understanding that these stop limit orders are held on globex and are native to the exchange. Has anybody else had this experience???
