CME reducing 6E (EURUSD) tick size

  1. Actually, lower tick size is always good for retail 1-lotters, whereas it's good for some types of HFT, bad for others.

  2. Please someone tell me how to change that in my Ninja Trader. I go to instrument manager, then in M6E I put tick size: 0,00005 and in point value 6250. Is this correct??

Another question. If yesterday my stop was 10 ticks away, with $1,25 per tick and 1 contract that is $12,5 of lost money. Now, it is 20 ticks away, but with $0,625 per tick so 1 contract gives me $12,5 also, right? (not good at maths, sorry). I mean, I will lost the same money in the negative trades and gain the same money in the positive ones?

Imo the real goal is to compete with the New York based spot FOREX firms that allow micro accounts.

They simply want more retail flow.

I don't find myself trading more often than I did previously. At first the change threw me off a little bit(nobody likes change). Now that I have grown accustomed to it I like the smaller tick size.
