2-3 ticks wide and interest has grown over the week. the order book depth has improved. I have md traders of 6e and m6e side by side and the m6e spread is rarely more than one tick wider than 6e.
Do the e-micro's trade overnight? I have IB TWS up and never see any activity overnight on the micros. Anyone know anything about this? Thanks in advance and I apologize if this has already been answered.
trading can be done by people in countries with lower living costs. Not everyone needs a fortune to have a wonderful life.
We had the same thoughts of somehow moving back to futures for our currency trades with our frustration with brokers. Eventually, we stuck with FOREX, but had to do it the hard way. Ourselves. But the end result was that the pure interbank pricing/spreads once you strip out broker hanky-panky was amazing. If not a bit shocking. We're talking EURUSD spreads of less than .5 pips during the day, and often 0! USDJPY only a tenth more expensive, but still lots of 0's in there during the day. When you add in the liquidity aspect, futures could never, ever, ever compete with that. Trader 5of7 @ TheCollectiveFX.com
