Anyone have thoughts on these? They look interesting, especially if there is volume on the options, those could be a good alternative to the ISE or Phily options.

They seem like a good idea, but you would need to have pretty cheap futures commissions to make it comparable to spot.

  2. If the liquidity is there I would recommend it over spot forex.

    Down with the bucket shops!

  3. This could be potentially BIG.

  4. I really don't think so. Commission will eat you up. Just think about it for a second.

    I need micro ES :D

  6. There are already e-mini FX futures (1/2 size of the standard contracts) on the CME - with crap liquidity and spreads, basically untradeable. I see no reason why the micro-edition should fare any better.

  7. Yeah, i don't get this micro crap. Seems like a retarded idea.

  8. Yeah, just like the mini ES, NQ, ER (TF) YM, and all those emini contracts....a very retarded idea

you might have had a point if the fx futures didn't already have the same margin as those

  10. exactly what my point was.

do you think a micro es would work?

I think it would be pointless.
