Matthews doens't like anyone of the dems running. He doesn't think any of them can defeat Trump. He thinks there is no way that Bernie can win the general.
Matthews for all his bloviating knows the game. Similar to when another old school democrat, James Carville, was the first to see the numbers weren't adding up on election night 2016, Matthews is reading the tea leaves. The dems have a for shit line up of candidates, and Bernie isn't even a democrat, he's an unapologetic communist, and actually the only authentic one in the bunch. Whatever one thinks of him, he's been preaching the same game for his entire life, unlike the Johnny come lately types now sharing the stage with him. The choice for democrats is to get behind a dyed in the wool communist, or a old school establishment democrat pretending to be a newly woke socialist, neither of which have a chance in hell of beating Trump.
Yeh. The media - very definitely including MSDNC and CNN and the DNC are in the tank for Warren but they can't get her up and out of the toilet she fell into. Matthews said several times "I think they need to find a candidate." How can I argue with that, while I am saying it every day. Bernie is NOT going to win, just as Matthews said. So if you accept the fact/supposition/premise that Bernie is not going to win, while at the same time seeing that the greater number of poll votes out there are for progressive candidates (bernie, warren, booty combine) tell me where they are going to go when Bernie goes down. I know the disagreement about my view in regard to Warren and I accept that for argument, but then tell me where they are going to go. Biden? Give me a frigging break. If Bernie is "robbed" again they will piss on his face/again. And either stay home of work against him and he needs their votes- not all, but most. If it means that Trump gets elected to punish the DNC, all the better for them. There are repetitive tards here who will repetitively rise to point out that this is still a center or center right or center left country so that is the view and the candidate who will prevail. Really? We are talking the dem primary here. Save that repetitive rap for the general election.
CLOWN DOWN!!! Michael Bennett has dropped out. I guess they can take your picture off the milk cartons now.
And just like that, one of the Democrat clowns fell off the clown car. Tom Steyer fell off the Democrat clown car and fell on his had. He finally awoke to find that he did not have any chance to win? LOLOLOLOL
Must be unsettling to the three or more others who got even less or will get even less than Steyer in the SC primary who see Steyer is dropping out. As discussed, ad nauseum, this is Joe's day and his weekend but he definitely needs to get a wiggle on. He will get 30 or so of SC's 54 delegates but SuperT is coming right up on Tuesday and California a alone has 415 delegates and Comrade Bernie is leading Joe 2-1 there in the polls. Not sure Jim Clyburn gonna be helping him much there in CA. If Joe does better than I think there or in some of the other states, that's fine too. Just means that a horse named Brokered Convention is going to be the winner. That could be fun, especially if Bernie wins, or even better, if he loses and a rebellion breaks out. It's all good. Reach in to the dem hat and pull a rabbit out, any rabbit, and it is a loser.
