Could anything be worse for democrats than a Warren/Castro ticket?

  5. It's hard to think of a worse ticket right off, but when you have an 80 year old leading nominee talking about being open to having a republican on the ticket, you know that when it comes to the race to the bottom, there is a lot of competition. I am sure that Bernie and his VP selection would provide some stiff competition in the race to the bottom as well.

So many choices with the dems.

The primary process isn't reducing the field for the dems, they are within a few point of each other. Something really ugly is going to happen at the convention. So interesting.

Bernie is going to get screwed... again.

  8. Correctomundo. As discussed.

The tards here are obsessed with Biden's lead and about the "fact" that the party allegedly went too far left and has now allegedly self-corrected over to Joe or Klobuchar or something.

Really? Biden has the lead for one candidate but most of the votes/support are still with the far left "progressives." Look at Joe's numbers and then look at what Bernies plus Warrens numbers combined are and tell me where the greater support is. Plus a good portion of Booty's supporters are far left.

So Joe is in good shape if he can do such a stellar job that he can get the nomination/enough delegates before the convention or on the first vote. But if they go to second and third votes and a food fight breaks out, then the progressives will probably have the support to take him down, unless they are unyielding and want to go down with their candidate's ship rather than consolidate behind another progressive candidate. And that is possible but not something Joe can count on.

Dems are already positioning themselves for a long haul, meaning that Super Tuesday will still not settle it. And those who are not doing that yet, better get with the program.

The very real scenario of a protracted, ‘bizarro world’ Democratic primary

  9. Oh, I am flexible kind of guy and could sing and sway with Joe. Joe is a happening kind of guy and makes the hairs on my legs stand up.

It would be having John Kasich or Jeff Flake on the ticket that would cause me to go flaccid.
