Will be looking for longs if we can get another higher low. If we break this uptrend here on 1 min chart then i will prepare to short for new lows. Long at 58 - took a shot on this one i must admit. This was not part of plan. 1pt stop
Im hoping we can put in a higher low here again and then shoot of to 68 for strong close. Got bit lucky on the 58 so far, we shall see though as none of these luck trades ever work out for me That why i should stick to the plan!!! Actually hope i get stopped on this one so it teaches me to wait for the right set-up before jumping and getting little bit lucky with the entry. Getting lucky on a trade just enforces negative re-enforcement in my trading. Technically i would be long and most likely filled at 1360 which is actually based on my trading plays.
What part of your plan are you not following? Maybe discussing that would help you follow your plan. I'm enjoying your posts a lot.
Thanks for reading i am trying to be as honest as i can with my trading. Well i have a number of simple plays which i have documented and tested for my day trading account. The only play i did not follow my plan today was the long at 58 which was basically trying to pick the low tick which is not part of my plays. Most of my trading plays are based on price action using trendlines, trend following, and many many price patterns and price action movements i have observed and noted from the 1000s of hours of sitting infront of these screens.
Short 57.25 - looking for a big one here, may hold overnight. I have noticed how on holidays they like to gap it up and then set-up for big smash down. HPQ earnings after the close - most likely going to be bad based on state of economy right now - maybe nice sell-off here i hope or after the close. Regardless i will be holding with bigger stop on this one.
Not bad day for me so far - did give away 5 points twice but have to admit entries have all hit the 5point range. I considering increasing size just so i can scale out and bank these dollars that keep getting away from me. Pushing the boat on this one as i try to go for bigger gains when i am having a good day.

Out at 48 for 9.25 Most likely calling it a day here - have some things to do but i might try to get in some more screen time if i can. If not then stats for the day are good: 16.5 ES points - $825
