Historically the best way for a democrat to win the presidency is to deny the Republican Ohio. While democrats don’t necessarily need Ohio, republicans do. Trump won Ohio by 8, Sherrod Brown won Ohio by 7. My instincts tell me Brown would have the best chance of beating Trump.
