Several reasons. First off, you are just plain stupid. But that is not your fault, it is my problem for not being more tolerant. Secondly, you are an annoying guy that never contributes a single thing about trading to ET, which is supposed to be a trading site. But what put me over the edge with you is this....you want to call my wife (who is a lawyer and CFO and COO of a large corporation) a "dum kunt", well, you are entitled to your free speech (as ignorant as it is). But what you are NOT entitled to is altering a quote, as you did with me. http://elitetrader.com/vb/showthread.php?s=&threadid=18446&perpage=6&pagenumber=15 (towards bottom of page) Adding the idiotic line (complete with misspellings) "bend over & sped your ckkeeks you idiot.." to my post, as if I said it, which I did not, went beyond the bounds of "internet etiquette", which of course is something you wouldn't be expected to either understand or respect. But there you have it. You are a proven moron and loser. We all know that. But crossing certain lines of decency put you in a whole new category. At least you are unique. Congratulations on that. If the steroids don't kill you, society will.
rs7, i do regret that comment regarding your wife. i was way way out of line (and out of my mind at the time). the adding to your quote thing was a mistake, not intentional.
Yeah Aphie...it's me. I have been using Error 404 during my vacation from trading. Will be back as RSx.x in Sept. when I get back to full time trading. Peace, RS
Huh? As a matter of fact Max, yeah, I respect you; and if I did not like you, I would not have extended my dinner invitation to you. (Sorry you didn't take me up on it). You may be a pain in the ass with your confrontational manner, but you have never been anything less than a gentleman. Plus, your manners and your grammar and spelling are superb! The fact that you are contentious is not a bad thing. just kind of "different". But you are nothing if not consistent. And your ability to research matters is nothing less than astounding and admirable. So yeah, you are a "prince of a guy" in my book. You say what you say, do what you do, and don't use unnecessary profanity to make your points. And whether or not I agree with what you say, at least you are always coherent. Which is refreshing compared to the rants of so many here. Peace, RS
OK, so how is this going to help GG get back on track? What are YOUR thoughts about his situation? Me, I think he should try and get in with a prop firm. But driving a big rig may work as well. Maybe he needs a break. Peace, RS
Well, I gave my advice early on. He's got about $1500+. He can either pack it in, like he seems to want, or trade and take a shot in the "penny plus market." I think MyTrack only has a $500 minimum. This is predicated on being able to provide the roof over his head, of course. Otherwise he is going to have to get a job, but it's not the end of the world. Personally, I would have to have the action even if it meant buying and holding some cheap stuff. But not shooting from the hip, gotta do the research, particularly if you can't sit in front of an LII screen all day and are buy and hold swinging. I started at TD Waterhouse with $2000 and didn't even know there were brokers out there that would let you buy and sell all day, rolling over the same cash. TDW told me I had to wait 3 days on every trade. Still managed to make money, however, my line to anyone who claims how great they were doing '96-'99, I tell them, "BFD, housewives were kicking your ass." What I remember most was the first week of making these little trades every morning before going to work late and making a 1/8, 1/4 or sometimes a 1/2 point on 100-200 shares, what a rush. This is why I could never properly train doing it on paper, it's like playing poker with matches. Then one morning that first week, I sat down with my coffee, fired up the machine, ready to roll... and 9:30 comes and... nothing. What the Fu*k? Nothing moving, ticker is dead, no trades, no action, nada. It was Saturday.
