So now GG is Thomas Edison. And the pep rally continues. Keep trying, GG. If you quit, we won't have any more of these self-pity wallows to enjoy.
What proof do we have that you are successful db? That is always one of your questions. Where is your proof? I'll put my trading account up against yours any day. I'll tell you what... let's send a copy of our accounts to a mutually agreed upon middleman who can then post them. And do it right now. I can download mine quickly and easily. Surely you can too. And those NQ trades you said you were making money on. You remember, the ones you posted after the fact in the Keep It Simple thread. Did you post the confirmations? Was anyone shallow enough to require proof, or was everyone mature enough to accept that you have better things to do than BS about your trades?
You still have not posted of your charmed and amazing view of Ivory Tower life...How is it? Hope it is full of Amazing IVY experience. I am curious? Can us shitheads be saved? We are all worried about our semi-downard existance. Unless YOU show us how it's done. Please. Show us the way!
Yes db, that was exactly my point, GG is Thomas Edison. You really distilled that one. Good job. Maybe if you were more successful yourself you wouldn't enjoy seeing other people fail so much. That is what is truly pitiful.
TO: GORDON G Do you have a system that has been thoroughly backtested? If so, answer the following questions... 1) What market/s are you trading? (Markets) 2) How much are you buying and selling? (Position size) 3) When are you buying and selling (Entries) 4) When are you getting out of a losing position? (Stops) 5) When are you getting out of a winning position? (Exits) 6) How are you buying and selling? (Tactics) The most important part of trading is sticking to your system. It sounds to me that you are two steps behind because firstly you don't have a system and secondly you haven't backtested or researched the potential results of your system (which you don't have to begin with). You can't expect to profit by shooting from the hip, buckle down and do some real work. If you need some guidance I am more then happy to assist. Below is my web site. http://groups.msn.com/TradingStockBaskets Also, you might consider joining one of Ed Seykota's trading tribes. It seems you have a lot of feelings to examine. http://www.seykota.com/tribe/
Gordon have you thought about rml trading. I am in NO WAY affiliated with them but they only require $2500 and give 10-1 leverage and you can get licenses. I know theyre a prop shop and get their cut but nothings free after all. That way you could trade with leverage to see how you do. Stay in school and swing trade with them. I'm in a similar situation as yourself. I'm 29 with licenses but going back to school for first time in 5 years to finish my last two years. I will try them as soon as I can save up the dough. I'm broke but have a passion for the game too.
nkhoi, i hope you didn't take my remarks on page one too seriously. at the time i wrote it, i knew i would probably get some backlash and i was pretty sure at one time you said i was just looking for sympathy. if i am wrong, i apologize. i post this stuff on ET because i know there are people here that will understand me and my situation. my friends certainly won't understand (none of them trade)... anyway, i have no bad feelings for anyone here on ET...even dbphoenix, who i strongly disagree with on this. i may disagree with people on individual issues, but when it comes down to it, there is no one here i hate or anything...
