Can anybody here possible suggest a research path (i.e., some things to focus on) for closed-end mutual funds? basicalyl we're having a dynamic shift at work, moving from open ended funds to closed-end, but there isn't exactly a lot of research material out on there, aside from the basics, and then stabbing around in the dark to get a feel for it. I've picked up Herzfeld's 97/98 encyclopedia of closed-end funds, that would seem to have a good start, but aside from that, can anybody offer some thoughts as to where I could direct my initial research, like the big names (most liquid) in closed-end, etc..? Thanks.
